Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of SkyBridge Capital and former White House Communications Director, has consistently positioned himself as one of Bitcoin’s most vocal supporters.
In early January, he appeared on the Bankless podcast to reaffirm his bullish stance, not just on Bitcoin, but also on a handful of other digital assets that he believes have long-term utility.
Scaramucci’s crypto portfolio, based on his public commentary, is structured with 50% allocated to Bitcoin (BTC), while the remaining half is split evenly across Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Polkadot (DOT). Among these, Solana stood out as his top pick for a layer-one blockchain due to its low transaction costs and high throughput.

To understand how his investment approach would have played out over the first half of 2025, we modeled a hypothetical $1,000 investment made on January 1, following his allocation strategy.
At the time, Bitcoin was trading at $93,510, Solana at $189.45, Avalanche at $37.63, and Polkadot at $6.64. By mid-year, those same assets were trading at $108,400, $154.94, $17.97, and $3.40, respectively.
Bitcoin, which made up the largest share of the portfolio, delivered a positive return of over 15%, helping to partially offset the steep declines elsewhere. Solana ended June down more than 21%, while Avalanche and Polkadot suffered even sharper declines, falling by around 50% each year-to-date.

Altogether, the portfolio was worth $880.86 on June 30, representing an 11.9% decline from the initial $1,000 investment.
